HISTORY:
Woodleigh Coach House was built in the mid 1890's by a London Brewer to be used
to distribute his ale all across the southwest, which increased his business to
the point he could then afford to build his own home on the estate becoming
Woodleigh Estate. Now separated into three sets of land, Woodleigh Hall,
Woodleigh Coach House and Woodleigh Touring Park and Fishery, the estate still
has the same charm as it did back when it was established. Made out of
Drewsteignton Rock, this Grade II Listed building is a charming and beautifully
built structure which has had a lot of effort and money put into it throughout
it's life and indeed the building phase, with a railway track being built
specifically for the purpose of bringing the Drewsteignton rock to the site.
So as you can see this Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful place and as a B&B it's
perfectly situated in Mid-Devon and Dartmoor National Park with lots of
activities to do during your stay. With luxury En-suite accommodation with tea
and coffee making facilities, Colour TV's and a guest lounge you can relax
indoors too and at low prices who can resist such a beautiful and natural
environment?
And remember, if you're not sure what you want to do ask us by e-mail, phone or
